Dave and Bev Payne

A current contribution or a gift through one’s estate to Colby-Sawyer College is very gratifying. A gift to the college is not only needed but helps fulfill the worthy cause of educating our students. Dave graduated from an Ivy League School in New Hampshire, one richly endowed. His potential gift there, though modest, would have little impact on the welfare of the institution.

Dave and I became full-time residents of New London about ten years ago and have always found the “town and gown” relationship with Colby-Sawyer to be strong: lots of lectures, art shows, and musical performances to enjoy. My early involvement with the Chargers Board and Dave’s recent efforts as a trustee were rewarding, so making a substantial financial commitment seems automatic!
